The Brinell hardness tester is mainly used for hardness determination of cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and soft alloys. The Brinell hardness test is a relatively accurate detection method, which can use a maximum test force of 3000kg and a 10mm ball. The indentation can accurately reflect the real hardness of coarse grain materials such as cast iron, cast steel, and forgings. The permanent indentation left after the test can be inspected repeatedly at any time. It is the largest detection method for indentation. It is not affected by the uneven composition of the workpiece or the sample structure, and can objectively reflect the comprehensive performance of the material.
Applications:
1.The Brinell hardness tester is used for Brinell hardness testing of forged steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, workpieces before heat treatment or after annealing,
2. It is mostly used for testing raw materials and semi-finished products. Due to the large indentation, it is not suitable for finished product testing.
